She is survived by: her husband Ralph Mims; her children, Francesca Rochelle Mims and Clayshane Knight Mims; her siblings, Myra Lee Northcutt (Knight), Ronnie Dale Knight, Connie Marie Childress (Knight) and Seth C. Knight; her nieces and nephews, Rex Cleckler (Amy), Jonas Knight, Wesley Knight (Autumn), Monica Messer Cooper (Todd), Scarlett Knight, Andrea Knight Williams (Slade) and Alissa Knight; her pets, Ginger and Matilda Jane; her great-uncle Seth C. Knight; and her child Shelida Knight (Thomas).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
