We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 72, Richard Martin Hurst of Clanton, Alabama, born in Centerville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Dean Hurst and Suzanne Martin Hurst; and his sisters, Marilyn K. Umholtz and Cynthia L. Bingham. He is survived by: his wife Mary Diamond Hurst of Clanton; his children, Clint R. Hurst (Tina) of Trenton, FL, Shane D. Hurst (Ashley) of Rossville, GA, Mark Tollett (Brenda) of Clanton and Stacy Johnson (Lee) of Rossville, GA; and his sister Vicki D. Eller (Benard) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces and nephews.
