He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "Bill" Forrester and Louise Forrester; and his sister Tara Forrester. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hayes Forrester; his daughters, Tara Helfinstine (Justin) and Casey Pairrett (Camryn); his grandchildren, Maddi Pairrett, Lauren Pairrett, Chandler Pairrett, Adam Helfinstine and David Helfinstine; and his sister Tana Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Helen Parrish Fund at First Methodist Church of Clanton, AL.
