He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Connell and Frances Bates Connell. He is survived by: his children, Jordan Connell Tyus (Albert) and Jake Connell; his grandchildren, Alena Connell (Z'Londre Tyus), Amelia Connell, Alydia Connell, Atleigh Connell and Raylan Connell; and his sisters, Cathy Connell, Debbie Wright (Danny) and Connie Connell. He is also survived by three nephews, and a host of family and friends.
