He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Johnson Roberts; his daughter Norma Jo Gafford; his father Norman L. "Buck" Roberts; and his brother Benjamin "Buddy" Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Sara Rose Roberts; his children, Samuel Keith Roberts (Janie) and Sara Patricia Paden (Shan); and his brother Norman Roberts (Lynne).
