It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Sanchez of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Suzanne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Suzanne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herman McGowan and Eva Nell Blackston McGowan. She is survived by: her husband Mauricio Tun Sanchez of Clanton; her children, Shane Howard of Tennessee and Amanda Cox of Pleasant Grove; and her grandchildren, Bella, Jonathan, Nikki, Jasmine and Red Buckler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
