With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Clay Sims of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Terry Clay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Terry Clay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his mother Jettielene Sims; his brother Larry Sims; and his son-in-law Jason Brown. He is survived by : his father Clyde Sims; his wife Cindy Sims; his daughter Tracy Brown; and his granddaughters, Emma Brown and Katie Brown.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at the Highland Baptist Cemetery (3405 Co Rd 75, Clanton, AL 35045).
