He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Roland and Rosetta Roland; and his siblings, Lou Adams, Katie Brown, Mary Hall, Willie Joe Roland, Lee Roland and Betty Blaydes.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jett Roland; his sons, Jonathan Roland (Amanda) of Pell City and Kristoffer Roland of Cragford; his grandchildren, Anyssa and Lilly; and his brother Harold Roland (Patricia). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
