He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Davis Sr. and Mary Edna Davis; his siblings, Anna Sample, JoAnne Hicks and Homer Q. Davis Jr.; his wife Judy Davis; his daughter Debra Kranz; and his grandson Chase McNeill.

He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Dean; and his siblings, Martha Stewart and Charles Davis (Wendy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
