He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Butler and Warren Butler; his nephews, David Brent Butler, Scott Johnson and Matthew Johnson; and his sister Carolyn Butler Johnson of Rockwood.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eddie Butler, Donna Butler Vitatoe (Billy Joe) and Judy Butler; his son Sean Butler; his grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Kaitlin of Wisconsin and Jamie Nicole; his great grandchildren, Emily Swallows and Lainey Swallows Kelley (Mason) of Tennessee; and his children, Ezra, Jude and Sutton Butler.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery.
