He was predeceased by: his parents, James Huey, Sr. and Callie C. Hartzog (Brown); his wife Sherrie McNabb Hartzog; his siblings, Kency Hartzog, Donald Hartzog, Richard Hartzog, Catherine Howerton and Lenora Johnson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Mathieu.
He is survived by: his daughters, Margie Cole (Anthony) and Dana James (Keith); his siblings, Larry Hartzog and Imogene Mathieu; his grandchildren, Julie Harp (Michael), Jesse Jenkins, Sherrie Partee (JJ), Katie James and Nicholas Cole; his siblings-in-law, Leon Johnson, Hilda Hartzog and Glenna Hartzog; and his close friend William Burks. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
