He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Limmie Gene Turvin and Barbara Joyce Butler Turvin; his siblings, Donald Wayne Turvin and Joyce Sellers; his son-in-law Omar Shabazz; his children, Karri (Omar Shabazz), Kaci (Jermayn Douglas) and Blake Turvin; and his grandchildren, Jayce Turvin (ToShonna Murry), Jakobe Danzy, Parris Danzy, Kyron Danzy and Kalani.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Assembly of God.
