He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Green and Ludie Green; his siblings, Howard, John Green, Bunnie Floyce Green, Hildreth Doty, Bobbie Hale and Lonnie Faye Howd; and his daughter-in-law Gayle Green.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Green (Johnson); his sons, Gary Green and Jay Green (Rhonda); his sister Linda Brand; his grandchildren, Landi Lanier, Taylor Green, Brittany Shirley and Hunter Green; and his great grandchildren, Beckham Lanier and Carter Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the High Rock First Congregational Methodist Church.
