Irma Carpenter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irma Carpenter (Clio, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mothers, Amie "Hambone" Warrick and Mabel Eugene Warrick; her husband James Melvin "Jimmy" Carpenter; and her daughter Donna Lois Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughter Traci Carpenter (Scott Myers) of Clio; her sisters, Joann Brown (Donnie) of Eufaula, Joyce Medley of Talladega and Marie Price (Carl) of Clio; her brother-in-law Ricky Carpenter (Tim McKinney); her nephew Timmy Jr. of Delray Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Karson Gavanditt (Tyler Livingston), Matthew Davis (Shelley-Ann) of Dothan and Zach Shipes (Jasmine) of Abbeville; and her great grandchild Mila Shipes.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist with final expenses.
