He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Capps King; his son Rusty King (Rickey King); and his brothers, Wayne King, Clarence King, Jr., Wendel King and Johnny King.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Dawkins (Larry) of Ariton, Ronnie King of Clio and Danny King of Clio; his siblings, Samuel King (Pat) of Dothan, Sallie Clackley of Panama City, Faye Greathouse (Larry) of Wicksburg, Patricia Berry of Slocomb and Diane Battles of Slocomb; his grandchildren, Russell Earl King (Falon), Heather King (Eric Waters), Whitney McCraney (Wesley), Connor King (Hannah) and Blake Dawkins (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Chloe Grace Waters, Emma Claire King, Cash McCraney and Carson King; his daughter-in-law Theresa King; and his close friend Janice Baker.
