He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Ellis Zirlott and Laurice Gray; his stepfather Lavern Gray; his daughter Jessica Zirlott Rhodes; his grandson Quinton Zirlott; and his nephew Richard Zirlott.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Johnson Zirlott; his siblings, Chris Zirlott (Judy), Wanda Zirlott (Kenny), Carmen Zirlott and Kim Zirlott; and his children, Simon Zirlott (Lori), Jeremy Zirlott (Kim), Rebecca Cornelius (Troy), Kate Brinkman (Jeromy) and Susan Wainwright (Derek). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a great grandson.
