He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Thomas (Faye) and Bertha Franklin (Marshall); and his siblings, John Thomas and Dianne Liles (Don). He is survived by: his wife Diane Thomas of Coker, AL; his daughter Deidra Thomas of Northport, AL; his stepchildren, Michelle Hicks (Glenn), Eddie Brinyark (Stacy) and Michael Brinyark (Patra); his siblings, Lynn Etheridge (Cecil), Ed Thomas, Dewayne Thomas, Michael Thomas and Gene Thomas (Candy); and his grandchildren, Makayla Simmons, Lindsay Hicks Jones (Jeremy), Jessica Brinyark (Anglo), Caleb Brinyark (Cheyenne), Abbey Brinyark, Elizabeth Brinyark and Noah Brinyark. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Manderson Cancer Center.
