He is survived by: his wife Leona Boothe Hager; his daughters, Linda Tunnell (George), Brenda Cargile (Terrell) and Corintha Helton (Doug); his sisters, Mary Jennings (Ray) and Marilyn Snider; and his grandchildren, David Tunnell, Kathy Brown, Cindy Gann, Glenn Tunnell, Justin Cargile and Dusty Gargile. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
