He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elliott Morgan and Joyce Bradbury Morgan; and his sister Kathleen Singletary. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Roberts Morgan; his sons, John (Susan), Mark (Glenda), Matthew (Whitney) and Joseph; his grandchildren, Elijah, Isaiah, Sarah, Hannah, Bentley, Gloria and Priya; his sisters, Patricia Tippit (Tilden) and Martha Morgan (Dianne); and his siblings' children, Kerry, Kitty, Kyle Davidson and Keith Tippit (Jean). He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has created the John Morgan Missions and Scholarship Fund that will help fund Collinsville Baptist Church mission trips and spiritual retreats and provide scholarships for higher education to graduating Collinsville High School students.
