He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis "Bill" Lanford, Sr. and Miriam Killingsworth Lanford; and his sister Annetta Lanford Kilgore. He is survived by: his wife Kathy King Lanford; his daughters, Keely Lanford Mims (Chris), Karla Lanford Chastain (Jeff) and Auburn; his grandchildren, Mary Hinson Mims, Davis Mims, Kathryn Mims, Ford Chastain and Ann Banks Chastain; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Kilgore and Dr. Jimmy H. King (Cornelia).
