She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Patterson and Geneva Patterson; her husband Stephen L. Bentley; her daughter Judy Bentley Dorough; and her grandchildren, Janis Wallis Belew and Nathaniel Dorough.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Bentley Townley (Jim) and Stephen L. Bentley, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Morgan, Jessica Harris, Wynter Alexander, Daniel Bentley and Allison Nolde; and her brother-in-law Earl Bentley (Donna). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
