He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edgar Britt and Murl Dixon Britt; and his brothers, Tom Britt and Harold D. Britt. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Stephens (Scott) and Daniel Britt (Audrey); his brothers, Jimmy Mullis (Teen), Bobby Kim and Shane Britt; and his grandsons, Jadon Stephens, Trevor Britt, Colby Stephens and Sebastian Britt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Elmore County, 255 Old Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092 in his memory.
