He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Lee Herron and Faye Key Herron; his aunt Bobbie Carter (Ben); his uncle Norman Key (June); and his grandmother Lucille Herron.
He is survived by: his sons, Lucas Herron and Seth Herron; his siblings, Jerri Fay Parker (Ronnie), Rhonda Kaye Eubank (Rick) and Randy Herron (Renea); and his cousin LuAnne McClenney (Barry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
