It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Burton of Cordova, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Guy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Alan Burton, Michael Eugene Burton and Danial Kevin Burton; and his grandparents, Boyd, Kathryn Burton, Jack and Beaureda Schaffer.
He is survived by: his parents, Alta Ines Burton and Guy Frank Burton, Sr.; and his siblings, Nancy Burton, Kathy Burton, Lisa Gurganus, Jennifer McCauley and Timothy Scot Burton.
