She is survived by: her children, Malcolm Johnson (Julie) and Tonya Brown (Mark); her sister Melba Harbison; her nephew Rodney Findley (Shae); her grandchildren, David M. Brown (Casey), Josh B. Brown (Kara), Megan Johnson and April Roberts Rickard (Neil); her great grandchildren, Ellison Brown, Finley Brown, Josh and Kara Brown; her great-niece Maddie Findley; and her great-nephew Maddux Findley.
In lieu of flowers, Ila requested that donations be made to Indian Creek Youth Camp at 7855 Pleasantfield Road, Oakman, Alabama, 35579—an organization close to her heart.
