He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marlin Lane and Hazel Lane; and his brother George Marlin "Butch" Lane, Jr. (Carolyn). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lane; his son Timothy Smith (Kelly); his siblings, Linda Boyd, Keith Lane (Sydney) of Arthur Charlie and William "Knobby" Allred (Sonya); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Gray (Geoffrey) and Kam Smith; and his great grandchildren, Josie and Barrett Gray. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
