He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Rodney James Higginbotham, Jr. (Nikki), Mandy Uptain (Jason), Aaliyah and Akeelah Higginbotham; his siblings, Terry Higginbotham (Sandra), Carolyn Dill, Deborah Stewart (Doug) and Lera Wood; his brothers-in-law, Joe Moseley, Jason Moseley (Tawanda) and Jermaine Moseley; his mother-in-law Joann Butler; and his close friends, Darrie Moseley, Neil Akins, Jr. and Jimmy Goodwin. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
