He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael "Mickey" Meaney and Rebecca Meaney; his brother Johnny Meaney; and his grandparents, Dixie Watts, Michael J. Meaney, Sr. and Mint Meaney.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Meaney; his sons, Corey Meaney (Erin) of Cottondale, Austin Meaney (Maddie) of Cottondale and Michael Meaney of Cottondale; his grandchildren, Luke Meaney and Della Meaney; and his brother Jamie Meaney (Missy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Joey's honor, may be made to the American Heart Association.
