He was predeceased by: his father Billy E. Garner; his wife Pamela A. Garner; his son Christopher M. Garner; and his brother David C. Garner. He is survived by: his mother Celia Vines Garner; his stepdaughters, Tammy Irey Cherry (Travis) of Pelham, AL and Brandy Irey Walker of Northport, AL; his grandchildren, Amanda Shook (Chase), Zachary Cherry (Shuanda), Shelby Pate and Zoe Cherry; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Evangeline.
In lieu of flowers that family requests that memorial donations in honor of Mr. Garner be made to Holten Heights Church at 4401 17th St NE, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
