She was predeceased by: her husband William Houston Snipes; her daughter Sandy Snipes Bockemehl; her parents, John Singley and Ollie Singley; her siblings, Sue Smelley, Johnnie Fields and Wayne Singley; and her friends, Danny and Angie Dockery.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Panter (Mike), Sharon Booker and William H. "Billy" Snipes, Jr. (Pam); her grandchildren, Timothy Johnson, MD (Kaitlin), Josh Sherrill (Ashley), Keith Booker, Matthew Johnson, Courtney Booker Gallant, Lee Snipes, Amanda Johnson Burnette (Britney) of Jonathon Sherrill, MD., Jennifer Snipes Soper (Brian), Jordan Sherrill (Hannah), Lauren Booker and Andrew Snipes (Jessie); and her close friends, Bill and Nan Hardy. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
