He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Tabor and Leila Jewel Teal Tabor; his daughter Ronda Faye Tabor; and his siblings, Wilifred Allen (Tabor) and Audrey Marie Tabor Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Hunt Tabor; his sons, Tommy Tabor (Carrie), Mike Tabor (JoAnne) and Jeff Tabor (Tracy); and his siblings, JP Tabor, Mark Tabor and Betty Jewell Tabor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31768). A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
