He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jackson of Cottonwood; his children, Janie Thaxton (Van) of Peachtree City, GA, Johnny Jackson (Mimi) of Carrollton, GA and Anne Rainey (Karl) of Warner Robins, GA; and his grandchildren, Clint Thaxton, Molly Breyne (Matt), Sam Smith and Will Smith. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
