It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Joan Logston of Courtland, Alabama, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Deborah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Deborah. Though Deborah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Hughes and Jessie Mae Hughes; and her siblings, Linda Letson and Garry Hughes (Randy Hughes). She is survived by: her husband Clarence Logston; her sons, Jason Logston (Trina) and Jamie Logston (Brandi); her sister Sandra Oden; and her grandchildren, Autumn Aranda (Nestor), Riley Logston, Jacob Logston and Kadence Logston.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home and Cemetery (741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
