He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry D. Beasley and Emmie Ruth Phillips Beasley; and his wife Brenda Jean Beasley (O'Saile). He is survived by : his sons, Brian Beasley of Headland and Jeremy Beasley (Sandy) of Haleburg; his grandchildren, Haiden Beasley, Gracie Beasley and Ty Beasley; and his brother Philip Beasley of Dothan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Philip and family, So sorry for your loss of Donald. I always called him Coach and I had him teach me College Algebra and Pre-Calculus at Wallace College. When I say teach, he was the only one that made me understand how to understand this math. Besides that, he was the best gift of an educator and coach a student could ever have. God Bless the Beasley Family at this time. RIP Coach and I will always remember you.”
