He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Taylor Hicks; his parents, Willie Martin Hicks, Sr. and Leona Evelyn Pharr Hicks; and his great grandchild Paige Droste. He is survived by: his children, Martin Hicks, III (Melissa) of Alabaster, Robert Hicks (Shelia) of Brooklet, Tommy Hicks of Camden, Jimmy Hicks (Christy) of Franklin and Mary Lynn Elliott of Camden; his grandchildren, Buddy Hicks (Sonja), Lori Price (Michael), Nathaniel Hicks, Corrie Doud (Caleb), Rachel Hicks, Samuel W. Hicks (Gabby), Sarah Cole (Brett), Savannah Bullard, Laura Elliott, Samuel G. Hicks (Janice), Brooklyn Hicks, Jonathan Elliott (Haley) and Rebekah Hicks; his great grandchildren, Clay, Greyson, Audi, Marshall, Norah, Margot, Juliet, Holland, Lily and Marley; his siblings, Glenn Hicks (Suzanne) of Monroeville and Laura Ellen Hicks Harris of Selma; and his extended family James Leonard "Winky" Hicks (Cindy) of Grove Hill.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home (2252 US-84, Frisco City, AL 36445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
