We are sad to announce that, on January 29, 2026, at the age of 93, Charles Ray Phillips of Crane Hill, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sanford and Grace Dean Bolt Phillips; his significant other Joyce G. Phillips; his brother James Phillips; and his great grandchild Alex Currington.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Phillips (Jenny) and Rex Phillips; his grandchildren, Tanya Arnold (Tim), Tim Phillips (Melanie), Cody Phillips (Andrea) and Cory Barnes (Emily); and his sisters, Gail Namaker and Melba Strong. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to The Gideons International, 409 Regent Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35802.
