He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aaron Lyons, Sr. and Mary Louise Alley Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Nelson Lyons; his children, James Gregory Lyons (Kim Moses Lyons), Alan Dale Lyons (Melodie Hadaway Lyons), Michael Robert Lyons (Kelley Wolff Lyons) and Katheryn Lyons Foreman (Paul Jackson Foreman); and his brother John Charles Lyons (Vicki Turner Lyons). He is also survived by Twelve Grandchildren Nineteen Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Family requests memorials be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
