He was predeceased by: his former wife Claudia Kastner; his stepdaughter Alesia Harris; and his parents, Joseph Kastner and Florence Dohnal Kastner. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kastner; his sons, Alan Kastner (Sharon), Andy Kastner and Austin Kastner (Barbie); his stepsons, Kevin Harris (Susan) and Ed Harris (Paula); and his grandchildren, Liann Kastner, Danielle Kastner, Niamh Kastner, Melanie Harris, Rachael Cordes, Dillon Cordes (Claire), Rebekah Rodgers (Jon Thad), Aubrey Moore (Riley) and Ben Harris (Mary). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Lake Baptist Church (1858 County Rd 222, Cullman, AL 35053).
