He was predeceased by: his parents, Veron Furlow and Etta Furlow; and his wife Peggy Furlow. He is survived by: his children, Denise Adams (Tom), Donny "Toby" Purvis (Jane), Pamela Brannon (Roger), Terri Bufkin (Randy) and Sheila Campbell (David); his sister Williams Edythe Johnson (Dwight); and his nieces and nephews, Johnnie Johnson and Leighton Etta Lindgren (Great Neice). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
