He is survived by: his wife Frankie Brewer Ferguson; his sons, Edward Ferguson Jr. (Stacy), Paul Ferguson (Annan) and Michael Ferguson (Mary); and his sisters, Carolyn Ferguson King (Donnie), Ellen Ferguson Hayes (Paul) and Susie Ferguson Mizzell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
