George leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. George’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew George will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Byars; his parents, Robert Byars and Elvie Lee Byars; his siblings, Fred Byars, Martha Stinson and Ruby Byars; and his son-in-law Neil Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Byars (Ginny), Robin Byars, Lorri Campbell and Beth Aragon (David). He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
