With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wenford Oneal Chamblee of Crossville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Chamblee and Dollie Chamblee. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Chamblee; his children, Anthony Chamblee (Deborah) and Gloria Wilbanks (Darrell Johnston); his sister Louise Bryan (Ronald); his grandchildren, Jed Chamblee (Katie), Savannah Chamblee and Drake Wilbanks (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Maggie Chamblee, Johnny Wilbanks and Aubrey Chamblee.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Freeman Chapel Cemetery.
