She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Payton and Alice Scott Payton; and her husband Rayford Brunner. She is survived by: her children, Mark Armstrong Sr. (Tracy), Jennifer Brunner and Zack Brunner (Serena); her grandchildren, Corbin Armstrong, Austin Armstrong, Angel Armstrong, Jonathan Black, Mark Armstrong Jr., Tyler Black and Ethan Armstrong; her brother Jimmy Duke; her pets, Tina, Camilla, Ajax, Lulu, Harley, Zoe and Cooper; and her nieces, Tammy Payton and Dana Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (1200 Ellard Rd, Fultondale, AL 35068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Cluster Springs Cemetery.
