He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe and Lee Gail Abbott Wise; and his grandparents, Raymond, Annie Mae Wise, Robert and Francis Abbott.

He is survived by: his daughter Summer Hood; his granddaughters, Autumn Crowley (Ryan) and Holly Hood; his great grandchildren, Ryker Crowley, Zayden Crowley and Xavier Crowley; his siblings, Shelia Rice (Elton), Denice McCarn (Chester) and Chris Wise (Lisa); and his close friend Kathy Sizemore.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to St. Jude's Hospital.
