He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Hoenig and Anna Luyben Hoenig of Cullman; his wife Margaret Tilley Hoenig; and his siblings, George Hoenig Jr. (Loraine) and Theresa Hoenig Waites (Dennis).
He is survived by: his children, Eddy A. Hoenig (Deborah), Regenia Geisen (John), Anita Antaillia (David) and Connie Bailey (William); and his siblings, Adrian Hoenig (Patricia) of New York and Joan Caron (John) of Vashon, Washington.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
