She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wendel and Julianne Frances Rowell Harp; her husband Dr. Harold Lloyd Blanton; her stepsons, Charlie and Jeff Blanton; and her grandchildren, Lauren Reeves and Jelia Day.
She is survived by: her daughter Bethany Lamar (AJ); her grandchildren, Jay Blanton, Rush, Kathryn and Karis; her stepchildren, Gordon Blanton (Martha), Marsha Bean and Valerie Tollison; and her grandchildren, Kim Shelton, Shane Blanton (Krysti), Jodi Day Wallace, Bryan Cross (Beth), Adrienne Gower (Michael), Steven Parnell (Starr), Tyler Parnell (Alex), Zach Blanton (Kristen) and Caleb Blanton. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
