He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnice Sams and Audrey Kirby Sams; and his siblings, Lyle, Marie, Betty and Jerry.
He is survived by: his brother Ray Sams (Nelda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
