With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cary Alan Nail of Cullman, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 65. Though Cary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nail and Eunice Charlotte Lofton Nail; and his former wife Carol Nail. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Sears (William); his stepchildren, Steven Smith (Joni) and Christie Cheatham (Charlie); his brother Ronnie Nail (Nancy); his grandchildren, Jacie James, Olivia Smith and Satchel Smith; his niece Jennifer Martin (Monty); and his nephew Jeff Nail (Katrina).
