She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Beam and Lula Beam; her husband Billy Ray Crumpton; and her siblings, Corrine Patterson, Gladys McClendon, Robert Byron Beam and Ruth Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael A. Shivers, Richard B. Shivers (Julie) and Lance E. Shivers (Starla); her stepdaughter Sherri Crumpton Herbowy; her grandchildren, Ashley Maheu (Zach), Matthew Shivers, Austin Shivers, Hannah Shivers and Dustin Shivers; and her great grandchild Knox Shivers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Childhood Cancer Research (curechildhoodcancer.org) or Westminster-Cullman Assisted Living (1020 Olive Street SW, Cullman, AL 35055 Atten: Wanda Raines), in Carol's name.
