He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Parrish and Oscar Cordes (Margie Cordes); his sons, Doug, Michael, Wesley and Andy Cordes; and his siblings, Sandra Cordes and Jim Bo Cordes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Stewart, Crystal Jones (Jason) and Misty Cordes; his siblings, Laura Burks and Kenneth Cordes; his grandchildren, Zack, Kenzie, Kaci Cordes, Tiffany Collum, Cassandra Stewart, Austin Mooney, Brandon Jones, Anna Minor and D. J. Minor; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Stewart, Zayden Collum, Zayleigh Collum, Avyrie Cordes, Tatum Moore and Cyrus Green.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
